Never worked with a financial planner before? It’s easy, believe me.
The Place to Start – the Initial Phone Call or Email
This is a chance for us to communicate directly, at no cost or obligation to you, about your personal financial needs and goals. Typically, I make some general suggestions and inquiries to determine if I am a good resource for you.
Follow Up Email
I will send you e-mails that contain:
- My ADV, a clearly-written document that will tell you more about how I work and how I charge;
- My contract, so that you can review it at your convenience;
- My list of requested documents that I ask you to gather and, ideally, bring to the initial meeting;
- A link to securely submit your financial information online.
Initial Meeting
The priority in this meeting is to confirm the initial scope of work we will do together. It’s also a chance to meet face to face, and for you to ask any questions you might have about my qualifications, experience and approach to planning. I do not charge for the introductory portion of this meeting. If we do decide to work together, we sign a contract, and a deposit is paid before we review the documents that you bring.
